Front Oil Tank and Filter.  This oil tank has a much larger capacity and improves weight distribution.  It is located in a much safer location instead of the vulnerable right rear quarter area.  This tank has welded-16 fittings for the return and  vent lines and a threaded bung for a -20 suction oil line. Also available is a remote mounted oil filter mount.  It is supplied with -12 fittings and we can provide -16.  A conventional disposable canister filter or a reusable/cleanable  System-1 filter can be used with this mount. Only avaiable for current projects.

5-Axles & Rear Suspension:
ERP 935 Style Spring Plates.  These lightweight spring plates feature a monoball for increased response.  They also allow for a very precise rear toe adjustment.  Only available for current projects. ron_935_rr_arm.jpg (58869 bytes)
930 Trailing Arm conversion.  Turbo trailing arms improve rear suspension geometry.  Dual tapered roller bearings are used instead of conventional cage-type bearings for exceptional durability and bearing life.  Only available for current projects. ron_930_trailing_arm.jpg (82936 bytes)
G50 Camber Boxes.  Infinite rear camber adjustments are available with these boxes.  Autometrics Motorsports exclusive camber boxes are necessary for the 930 trailing arm conversion on cars equipped with a G50 transmission.  NOTE: These boxes often require modifying the rear seat.  Only available for current projects.

7-Pedals & Levers:
8-Body & Interior:

Stripped and Acid Dipped.  Everything is removed from the car, including wiring harnesses, and the entire tub is submerged in a caustic solution to remove all adhesive, undercoating, seam sealer, body filler, and paint.  If rust is present, a diluted acid solution is used to remove it.  The process is neutralized with water, and a coat of oil stops the chassis from rusting until the painting and body work are done.  This process is the most effective and cost-efficient method of reaching bare metal.  With all sealers and coatings removed, the car is as light as it can be, and in addition, all hidden rust is uncovered and eliminated.  We highly recommend that the chassis be powderpainted after this process.  Cost is based on weight.  Only available for current projects.

ron_dipped.jpg (74405 bytes)

Chassis Powderpainted.  The chassis must be stripped to bare metal before powderpainting; we recommend dipping the car as described above.  The metal is electrically  charged, this attracts the powder (which has the opposite charge), which is sprayed on to the metal causing a clinging effect.  This allows the powder to reach cavities and orifices that conventional spray paint cannot, that is why we recommended this process for tubs that have been dipped.  The car is then placed in a large oven which essentially melts the powder to form an attractive, smooth, and durable finish.

(Click here for more information about powderpainting)  Only available for current projects.

Sunroof Eliminated. The entire roof of the car is cut out and replaced with a lightweight fiberglass or carbon fiber roof skin.  The result is a lower center of gravity due to decreased weight at the top of the car and an attractive finish that is nearly unnoticeable from inside or outside the car, all without compromising structural rigidity.  Only available for current projects. ron_sunroof.jpg (53107 bytes)
Remove rear seat, replace with rear shelf.  In addition to saving weight, this creates more space to service the engine, transmission, and other components in the rear of the car.  This is also the most efficient method for the G50 camber box modification.  Only available for current projects.
Custom Roll Cages. Roll cages are made of DOM steel in tube diameters ranging from 1"-1¾" with varying wall thickness depending on application, series specifications and the weight of the car.  Custom cages fit snugly to the A and B pillars and to the roofline of the car.  We provide sportscar cages with a NASCAR twist.  Our cages are designed in conjunction with NASCAR experience to produce a cage that is safer than most without substantial excess tubing and weight.  Only available for current projects. ron_rollcage.jpg (55986 bytes)

Racing Seats.  We are a dealer for all models of  Recaro and OMP racing and dual-purpose seats. Only available for current projects.

IROC RSR Bodywork.  Fiberglass or carbon fiber front fenders, rear quarter panels, and hood are used to save a considerable amount of weight.  Front and rear fender flares measure 9" and 11", respectively.  RSR rear tail is 53" wide and replaces the factory rear decklid; this is also available in fiberglass or carbon.  RSR style fiberglass front spoiler accommodates RSR oil cooler and brake ducting.  Fiberglass rear bumper can be cut-out for any exhaust system, and vent holes can be cut to decrease aerodynamic drag.  Only available for current projects.
