Front Mounted RSR Oil Cooler are available for 911's with most front spoiler configurations.  The coolers are all aluminum construction with a choice of fitting sizes (-12 or -16)  straight or 45 degree angles.   These oil coolers keep oil temp below 210 degrees, even on 100 degree days.
Front Oil Tank and Filter.  This oil tank has a much larger capacity and improves weight distribution.  It is located in a much safer location instead of the vulnerable right rear quarter area.  This tank has welded-16 fittings for the return and  vent lines and a threaded bung for a -20 suction oil line.   $799. Also available is a remote mounted oil filter mount.  It is supplied with -12 fittings and we can provide -16.  A conventional disposable canister filter or a reusable/cleanable  System-1 filter can be used with this mount.

8-Body & Interior:

Stripped and Acid Dipped.  Everything is removed from the car, including wiring harnesses, and the entire tub is submerged in a caustic solution to remove all adhesive, undercoating, seam sealer, body filler, and paint.  If rust is present, a diluted acid solution is used to remove it.  The process is neutralized with water, and a coat of oil stops the chassis from rusting until the painting and body work are done.  This process is the most effective and cost-efficient method of reaching bare metal.  With all sealers and coatings removed, the car is as light as it can be, and in addition, all hidden rust is uncovered and eliminated.  We highly recommend that the chassis be powderpainted after this process.  Cost is based on weight.

ron_dipped.jpg (74405 bytes)

Chassis Powderpainted.  The chassis must be stripped to bare metal before powderpainting; we recommend dipping the car as described above.  The metal is electrically  charged, this attracts the powder (which has the opposite charge), which is sprayed on to the metal causing a clinging effect.  This allows the powder to reach cavities and orifices that conventional spray paint cannot, that is why we recommended this process for tubs that have been dipped.  The car is then placed in a large oven which essentially melts the powder to form an attractive, smooth, and durable finish.

(Click here for more information about powderpainting)

ron chassis pp.jpg (71933 bytes)
Sunroof Eliminated. The entire roof of the car is cut out and replaced with a lightweight fiberglass or carbon fiber roof skin.  The result is a lower center of gravity due to decreased weight at the top of the car and an attractive finish that is nearly unnoticeable from inside or outside the car, all without compromising structural rigidity. ron_sunroof.jpg (53107 bytes)
Remove rear seat, replace with rear shelf.  In addition to saving weight, this creates more space to service the engine, transmission, and other components in the rear of the car.  This is also the most efficient method for the G50 camber box modification.
Custom Roll Cages. Roll cages are made of DOM steel in tube diameters ranging from 1"-1¾" with varying wall thickness depending on application, series specifications and the weight of the car.  Custom cages fit snugly to the A and B pillars and to the roofline of the car.  We provide sportscar cages with a NASCAR twist.  Our cages are designed in conjunction with NASCAR experience to produce a cage that is safer than most without substantial excess tubing and weight. ron_rollcage.jpg (55986 bytes)

Racing Seats.  We are a dealer for all models of  Recaro racing and dual-purpose seats.  (Click here for details and Pricing)

Doors cut-out for NASCAR style door beams.  NASCAR beams extend all the way to the door skin for maximum driver safety.  Maintaining the factory metal doors assures a good fit, durability, and a clean finish.  All internal door components are removed and the inner section of the door is cut out and sanded for a smooth finish.  The factory door latch is retained and can be operated from the outside using the factory handle or from the inside using a nylon strap.  The original window frame may also be used.  We also have a unique door glass system that allows the car to remain water tight when not in use and the windows to be removed when on the track, all without additional hardware. ron_doors.jpg (79966 bytes)

Custom Gauges.  The face, range, and orientation of tachometers, speedometers and other gauges can me modified for any application.  Various temperature gauges and lights can replace other gauges to retain the original look of the instrument cluster, while providing the driver with all the information he needs.  Autometrics Motorsports' logo can also be added to a gauge as seen in the photo.  Call for pricing.

ron_fabcar_shifter.jpg (79340 bytes)

Full Tinted Lexan. Lightweight Lexan can be used to replace all windows and windshields.  These windows can be mounted in the factory moldings or flush-mounted.  Side windows typically come in 3/16" and windshields in 1/4".  Door windows can still be used with doors that have been cut-out using our unique water tight system as described above.  Lexan is available in tinted and clear.  Side and rear windows are sold as full, uncut sheets of Lexan, original windows must be used as a pattern to cut the sheet.

IROC RSR Bodywork.  Fiberglass or carbon fiber front fenders, rear quarter panels, and hood are used to save a considerable amount of weight.  Front and rear fender flares measure 9" and 11", respectively.  RSR rear tail is 53" wide and replaces the factory rear decklid; this is also available in fiberglass or carbon.  RSR style fiberglass front spoiler accommodates RSR oil cooler and brake ducting.  Fiberglass rear bumper can be cut-out for any exhaust system, and vent holes can be cut to decrease aerodynamic drag.
